A beautiful, highly collectible piece of British menswear history. This authentic 1920s gentleman's travel set features a complete collection of six white detachable collars, meticulously preserved inside its original round, tan leather travel case.

This particular set represents a fascinating snapshot of the 1920s "collar revolution," containing a mix of traditional rigid starched tailoring and revolutionary semi-stiff comfort wear. All six collars are a vintage size 15, perfectly matched to fit a size 14.5 tunic/collarband shirt. Given that many surviving antique collars are too small for modern wearers, this size 15 set is a rare and highly wearable find.

  • 3 x Van Heusen "Style 52" Collars: The height of 1920s innovation. Manufactured in England under license by Harding, Tilton & Hartley Ltd, these feature the famous patented multi-ply, unstarched "semi-stiff" weave. Stamped with dual UK/European sizing (15 / 38), these offered the sharp look of a starched collar with all-day flexible comfort.

Condition Report:

  • Leather Case: Excellent vintage condition. The leather has a beautiful natural patina with strong, intact stitching. The strap and leather buckle are fully functional.
